For many, Christian Gálvez is part of the select list of the most beloved presenters on television in Spain. His professional career began in 1996, when at the age of fifteen he made his television debut as an actor. Some fleeting roles that allowed him to demonstrate his self-confidence and naturalness in front of the camera, and that would later lead him to present his own programs, such as Pass word Y High voltage. In recent months, Gálvez has not been in the media spotlight just because of his impeccable professional work, but also because of his sentimental situation.
Christian’s is the story of a young man destined to dedicate himself to television. Born on May 19, 1980, he began his studies in Teaching and English Philology, although he never finished them. His professional beginnings were in the world of acting, debuting on the small screen at just 15 years old. He did it in Family doctoralthough later, in 1996, he would join the cast of other series, such as the house of messes either Afterclass.
These interpretations helped him gain ease before the camera, and later his first work as a television presenter would come, directing spaces such as summer night, humor at full throttle and the infant Desperate Social Club. It was not until 2005 that a young Gálvez began to gain greater notoriety on television. He worked as a reporter on the comedy show Whoever that fails, broadcast by Telecinco, a space that would give him the definitive pass to own his own space: Pass word.
Telecinco chose him to present the space, which would be broadcast from July 16, 2007. Gálvez led the space for more than eleven years, becoming one of Mediaset’s most respected presenters. With Gálvez at the helm, the program has remained one of the most watched in Spain and has won various television awards, such as Ondas in 2008, and several TP de Oro. In 2019, the program fell from the grid of Telecinco and in 2021, Gálvez began a new stage in his life, being the presenter of High voltagespace that currently still leads.
But the truth is that television has given Gálvez a lot, not only on a professional level, but also on a sentimental level. Little is known about who held the heart of the handsome presenter before his television debut. In 2005, he began a relationship with the Venezuelan model Veruska Ramírez. This idyll would end a year later, in 2006. In 2007, the only woman he had ever married would come into his life: Almudena Cid. They both met in Pass word, where she attended as a guest. His was a crush.
The truth is that, throughout their relationship, both have reappeared on numerous occasions together on the small screen, revealing some details about how their beginnings were, even daring to say that their first date took place in a bowling alley. In addition, the former gymnast was surprised by confessing what was the first thing she thought of when she met the journalist: she thought he was homosexual. Something that made him think she was losing any chance with him.
Months passed, and in 2009, on a romantic trip to Paris, Gálvez proposed to Cid under the Eiffel Tower. The young woman accepted it immediately. They both said ‘yes, I do’ a year later, on August 7, 2010. They did so at the Los Angeles estate, which is located in Torrelodones, in the Community of Madrid. Their marriage would last just under twelve years. The truth is that in the last months of their relationship, there was nothing to suspect that in the end the couple would end up going their separate ways.
In their public reappearances, they were most in love. During the fifteen years of relationship, the couple never had children. An issue, that of motherhood, which became a real problem, as Cid confessed to Toñi Moreno in 2018, since she felt pressured by society to have children. This worsened when Gálvez, 42, recognized in Pass word who wanted to be parents. Finally, this did not happen, and at the end of 2021, the couple considered their relationship ended, in one of the most mediatic ruptures of recent years.
At the end of last February, alarms were going off that someone had already occupied Gálvez’s heart. Patricia Pardo, 39, was singled out, who had also terminated her relationship with Fran Márquez, her partner at the time, father of her two daughters. Later, this information would be confirmed by the two, who, although they tried to keep their relationship secret, could not hide their hints through social networks.
Apparently the couple would have met in the corridors of the chain, since Patricia presents the current affairs section of the Ana Rosa Program and Christian has been the host of numerous successful house contests such as Pasapalabra. Both have been working at Mediaset for more than ten years and the truth is that, despite being two young people, they are two of the most recognized presenters of Telecinco. After the rumours, the first photos arrived confirming that something between them was blossoming.
Both have been discreet about their relationship, but they do not hide it either. After their romance came to light, Christian dedicated a message of love to his new girlfriend on the radio. Later, she would thank him through her social networks, with a romantic bouquet of red roses. Gestures of love that have not been repeated in public, missing even photographs together on social networks.
Precisely this summer the two were most complicit in Ana Rosa’s program, where Gálvez went to present his new space. Smiling and nervous, they confirmed that their relationship is going from strength to strength. Something that was shown after transcending that both have traveled together this summer to Disneyland Paris, along with Pardo’s daughters. They leave behind the bad drink after their respective divorces and they already enjoy the flame of love again.
