Nittardi, 40 years of author labels on display at the Coveri Gallery

For the 40 years of “author labels” that embellish its Chianti Classico, the Nittardi company has set up an exhibition in the Coveri Gallery with 80 works by renowned artists, designers and painters

A work of art a year for four decades, until reaching the milestone of 40 years of author labels in 2022: perhaps no one like the Tuscan company Nittardi has been able to unite the world of wine in an inseparable way to that of painting. Since 1981, the Chianti Classico winery has been asking internationally renowned artists – painters and designers – to dress the bottles (both the label and the silk paper that wraps the vintages of Casanuova di Nittardi’s Chianti Classico). And for the 40th anniversary, the family Canali-Femfertgallery owners between Germany and Italy, has chosen to celebrate in style.
